Many features of the ancient Shippon barn have been preserved with exposed timbers throughout. The owl flight holes and archers' windows have been restored and snugly glazed, giving the bedrooms a unique charm. The atmosphere is completed with flagstone flooring, a woodburning stove downstairs and oak floors upstairs.
There are 3 bedrooms, 1 with ensuite. To accommodate families, there is a double bed with a single bunk above.
This toasty warm cottage has everything needed for a very comfortable stay.
The Swimming Pool
The Barnacre Private pool is shared between the three cottages onsite. It is fully heated, and guests are allowed to book at least two hours in the daytime slots between 9am and 5pm. A simple online booking system is used to ensure that you have privacy in your booked time away from other guests.
